Arolux is Westlake Plastics’ family of semi-crystalline and amorphous polymers with continuous use temperature of over 450°F. Current materials include Arolux PEEK, PEKK and Arolux PPS.

  • Arolux PEEK

    Arolux PEEK

Arolux Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic offering a combination of high-performance properties including high temperature resistance, very good wear & abrasion resistance, excellent dimensional stability and exceptional chemical resistance to organic acids, bases and good hydrolysis resistance in boiling water and steam.

  • Arolux PEKK

    Arolux PEKK

Arolux PEKK is the first thermoformable PEKK product. Until now the PEKK family of products could not be easily formed and Engineers were forced to rely on machining to get the parts they needed. The thermoformable characteristics of Arolux PEKK expands the application possibilities offered by the PEKK family.

  • Arolux PPS

    Arolux PPS

Arolux Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is a high performance semi-crystalline thermoplastic with continuous service temperatures up to 240°C. It offers high surface hardness and rigidity, very good chemical and oxidation resistance, very low water absorption, and is inherently flame-resistant (UL 94: V-0). PPS is a popular choice for structural applications in demanding chemical environments at elevated temperatures.
