Ethylux™ Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is a semi crystalline olefin with a lower density and a higher degree of ductility than Ultra Ethylux HDPE. Polyethylene resins are used to produce a range of general-purpose and high-performance applications, which include blown and cast film, extrusion and coating, and rotational and injection molding.

LDPE is a soft, flexible, lightweight plastic material, noted for its low temperature flexibility, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The polymer also has a wide range of appeal for food processing and packaging markets. LDPE has good chemical and impact resistance and is easy to fabricate and form. A highly flexible product, LDPE is used widely in orthotics and prosthetics, or where mobility without stress fatigue is desired. LDPE is also frequently used in consumer packaging, bags, bottles, and liners.
