These five industries are the DNA of Westlake plastics. Since the 1970s, we have worked in close conjunction with resin suppliers and end users to create products that not only meet the critical needs of customer applications but also redefine specific industry standards.
We understand selecting a polymer can be challenging. We have categorized our standard products by attributes to enable an easy match between a specific product capabilities and your application’s needs.
Westlake Plastics is a world leading manufacturer in extrusion and compression molding technologies of high performance thermoplastics. Our advanced technologies allow us to convert the full range of thermoplastic resins into rods, sheets, and film.
Made from a broad range of resins, Westlake Plastics extruded and compression molded sheet can be run at various thicknesses and trimmed to size to meet your application requirements. Material stability, sheet size, yield versus cost, and surface finish are all factors to consider when choosing extrusion versus compression molded sheets.
(from 0.250” to 6” thick depending on the material)
