Propylux™ GS
Propylux™ GS (gamma sterilizable polypropylene) extruded rods and sheets are made from FDA, USP VI compliant polypropylene resin. Its broad chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, hydrolysis resistance, and toughness make it ideal for single use medical and life science applications that will be sterilized via EtO gas, gamma or e-beam irradiation. It is formulated with a unique additive package designed to minimize the color shift and loss of mechanical properties that can typically occur with standard medical grades of polypropylene. Semi-finished shapes are stress relieved to improve dimensional stability during fabrication and end use.
